Connect from the Share tab
Open the agent's Share tab, choose WhatsApp in the Channels card and sign up with Meta. The account owner and admins can connect a number.
Counted like website chat
Each AI reply counts as one message on your plan with the default model, more with a larger model. Your team's replies don't count. Starter includes 3 channels per agent, Pro 6.
Follows Meta's 24-hour rule
The agent only answers messages customers send. It never writes first and sends no marketing or template messages, and your team can reply within 24 hours of the last message.
Text, photos and PDFs
The agent reads text, and photos and PDFs while visitor attachments are on. Voice notes, videos and locations get a short reply asking for text. Forms and booking times are not shown in WhatsApp.
Messenger and Instagram too
The same agent can also answer on a Facebook Page through Messenger and on an Instagram professional account. Each counts as one channel.
