Testing an agent used to fill your chat logs with your own questions. Temporary chat fixes that. Press the button in the chat header and the agent answers as usual, but the conversation is not saved and nothing shows up in Activity.
Visitors get the same button in the website widget. It gives people who would rather not leave a record a way to ask a quick question, and the lead form stays hidden while the chat is temporary.
Press the button again to return to the saved conversation. Temporary chats still count toward your monthly messages, because the agent does the same work to answer them.
