Beauty salon chatbot template
Answer questions about treatments, prices, aftercare and opening hours, send clients to your booking page and follow up with those who want advice.
For beauty salons, nail studios, hair salons and day spas whose team gets the same questions between appointments. It does not book appointments or diagnose skin, hair or nail conditions.

Visitor: Hi, what's the difference between a regular and a gel manicure?
Agent: A classic manicure with polish takes 45 minutes and costs €30, and the polish usually lasts about a week. A gel manicure takes 60 minutes and costs €42. The gel is cured under a lamp and lasts two to three weeks without chipping. Removing old gel costs €8 extra.
Visitor: Gel, then. Can I come in this Saturday?
Agent: I can't see the appointment book, so please check free times and book here: [booking page URL]. You can also call us at [phone number]. On Saturdays we're open from 9:00 to 16:00.
Visitor: I'm pregnant. Is that a problem?
Agent: Congratulations. I can't give medical advice, so please ask your doctor if you're unsure. Our team will also go through it with you before the treatment. Would you like to leave your number or email so a beautician can contact you beforehand?

- Retrain the price list each time it changes. Sources do not re-sync automatically.
Frequently asked questions
Can the chatbot book appointments?
No. intoCHAT has no booking or calendar feature. The agent explains the treatments, links to your own booking page and can take a phone number or email for follow-up. If your booking software has an HTTP API, you can connect it as a custom API action.
Can it recommend a treatment?
Yes, from your treatment menu. It asks about the result the visitor wants and the time they have, then suggests one or two treatments and explains the difference. It does not diagnose skin, hair or nail conditions.
How does it handle allergies or pregnancy?
The template tells the agent not to ask about health conditions, allergies, medication or pregnancy and not to give medical advice. If a visitor mentions them, the agent says the team will check before the treatment and offers a callback.
Can I change the instructions?
Yes. Paste the template into your agent's instructions, replace the placeholders and adjust the tone and rules. You can, for example, add rules for a hair salon or a second location.
Which plan do I need for one salon?
Starter ($19/month) includes 2,500 messages a month and 3 agents, which helps if you have more than one location. You can build and test the agent on the Free plan first.
