Add the chat with the official WordPress plugin, then connect your shop so the agent looks up live products, prices and stock while it chats. No API keys needed.

Two parts: the chat and your catalog
The intoCHAT WordPress plugin puts the chat bubble on every page of your WooCommerce store. Connect your website, on the Actions tab, lets the agent search your products through WooCommerce's public Store API, the same data your shop pages show. The agent also answers from what you train it on, such as shipping, returns and FAQ pages, and says so when it doesn't know. It reads public product data only: no orders, carts or customer details.

Create and train your agent
Sign up, create an agent and add your shop's address on the Knowledge tab so it learns your shipping, returns and help pages. You can also upload files or add Q&A pairs.
Connect your store
On the Actions tab, choose Connect your website and paste your shop address, including the folder if WordPress is installed in one, such as /shop. intoCHAT checks the WooCommerce Store API and adds a Search products and a Get product details action.
Test it in the Playground
Ask the Playground about a product, its price or whether it's in stock. Answers show product cards with an image, the price and a link to the product.
Install the WordPress plugin
In your WordPress admin, open Plugins, search for intochat.ai, then install and activate it. Under Settings > intochat.ai, paste your agent ID from the Share tab.
Check your shop
The chat bubble appears on every page, with the colors and position from the Appearance tab. To show it on specific pages only, use the [intochat] shortcode.
Prefer code? The script tag
<script src="https://www.intochat.ai/api/embed.js" data-chatbot-id="YOUR_AGENT_ID"></script>Only needed if you don't use the plugin, which needs no code. Paste it just before the closing body tag of your theme, never in the head.
What the agent does in your WooCommerce store
Searches your products live
Each search returns up to five matching products with price, sale status, stock and categories, read from your shop at the moment the visitor asks.
Shows product cards
Answers include cards with the product image, price and a link, so visitors go straight to the product page.
Knows sizes and variations
When a visitor asks about one product, a second action fetches its description, attributes such as size or color, variations and stock.
Answers beyond the catalog
Train it on your shipping, returns and FAQ pages or files so it handles policy questions too. Q&A pairs take priority over other sources.
Collects leads
A form in the chat asks for an email address or phone number on rules you set, and every new lead triggers an email alert.
Replies in the shopper's language
The agent answers in the language the visitor writes in, using the same products and pages.
Frequently asked questions
What does the agent read from my WooCommerce store?
Only public product data from the WooCommerce Store API: names, prices, sale status, stock, descriptions, attributes and variations. It can't see orders, carts, checkout or customer details, and no API keys are involved.
Can the agent track orders?
No. Order lookups need private store keys and a way to prove that the visitor owns the order, which a public connection can't provide. The agent can answer shipping and returns questions from your pages and collect the visitor's email or phone number so you can follow up.
Why can't intoCHAT connect to my shop?
Usually something blocks the REST API. Check that WooCommerce is active and up to date, and that a security plugin such as Wordfence or a firewall doesn't block /wp-json/. If WordPress is installed in a folder, include the folder in the address you paste.
Do product answers update when I change prices or stock?
Yes. Product searches run against your shop each time a visitor asks, so new prices and stock levels show up straight away. Pages you added on the Knowledge tab are different: retrain them after you change them.
Does the chat slow down my store?
The plugin adds one script that loads the chat bubble. The chat window runs in its own iframe served by intoCHAT, so its code stays separate from WordPress and WooCommerce.
Can I try it before installing anything?
Yes. The Connect your store demo on the intoCHAT website lets you paste a shop address and chat with its live catalog, without an account. To put the agent on your own shop, create a free account and connect the store from the Actions tab.
